Product Prices: Product prices displayed on the Jenga Green Library are manufacturers'/ suppliers’ Base Prices as of 2021-2022, are quoted in Kenyan Shillings and are inclusive of VAT.
1. Affordability
When it comes to affordability, the Bathrooms & Plumbing category is currently underrepresented. The category's assessment methodology considers resource consumption (Flow rates) as referenced in the assessment methodology.
Example
The flow rate of the baseline showers, which cost between KES 2,000 and KES 5,000, is 9L/min, which is 3L/min more than the efficient cutoff point of 6L/min.

2. Availability of Data Sheets
The lack of data sheets for products whose technical data is critical in establishing their efficiency is a significant barrier.
The categories most affected by this are:
a) Bathrooms & Plumbing – Most taps being sold in hardwares do not have technical data sheets
b) Locally produced products
