Duracoat Real Roc is a locally manufactured acrylic textured finish that provides a durable, stone-like coating for both interior and exterior walls across Kenya’s varied climatic conditions. Formulated with lightfast pigments, a specialist acrylic resin, and tough mineral aggregates, it forms a thick, flexible film that bridges hairline cracks and moves with temperature fluctuations without splitting or peeling. Built-in anti-fungal, anti-algal, and anti-mould additives protect building facades in Kenya’s humid and tropical coastal zones without the need for separate biocide treatments. Available in five texture grades from a fine 0.5 mm finish through to a natural stone effect, Real Roc gives specifiers a single product system to achieve a wide range of masonry aesthetics while delivering superior weather protection compared to standard exterior emulsions.
