Greenlight Solar LED Street Light SL 24W
Description
Go Solar Systems LTD: Greenlight Solar LED Street Light SL 24W
The Greenlight SL 24A is a heavy-duty solar LED streetlight built for higher mounting positions and broader area coverage than the compact models in the range. A 24W polycrystalline solar panel feeds a 12V 9.6Ah lithium-ion battery that powers a 24W LED array producing 2,400 lumens for 12 to 16 hours per charge. The aluminium alloy body replaces the polycarbonate-iron construction of the smaller units, providing better corrosion resistance and structural rigidity at the higher 4-6 metre installation heights typical of estate roads, commercial premises, institutional grounds, and public walkways. The separate-panel design with an adjustable tilt bracket allows the solar collector to be angled independently of the luminaire for optimal sun exposure.
Technical Specifications:
- LED output: 24W, 6000K-6500K colour temperature (cool daylight), 100 lm/W luminous efficacy (2,400 lumens total)

- Installation height: 4-6 metres
- Mounting: pole-mount
- Auto on/off via light sensor (dusk-to-dawn operation)
- Warranty: 2 years
- Certification: KEBS
Sustainability Features:
- Generates its own electricity from solar energy, eliminating grid electricity demand and associated Scope 2 carbon emissions for outdoor lighting
- Zero operational energy cost over the product’s lifetime, reducing long-term building operating expenses
- At 2,400 lumens, replaces a conventional 200W incandescent or 50W CFL streetlight while drawing zero grid power, a significant per-fixture saving when multiplied across a multi-pole estate lighting scheme
- Aluminium alloy construction offers longer service life and full recyclability at end of life compared to mixed-material housings
- No cabling, trenching, or transformer infrastructure required, eliminating copper conductor waste, civil works, and the ongoing grid connection charges associated with conventional streetlighting
- Extended 12-16 hour discharge maintains continuous overnight illumination without grid backup
- Lithium-ion battery avoids the lead-acid waste disposal burden of older solar lighting systems
