The Kwangu Kwako Studio Apartment is a self-contained living unit built from Kwangu Kwako’s 50mm reinforced precast concrete panels, incorporating a sleeping/living area, a separate bathroom, and a kitchenette within a single turnkey package. It is designed for young professionals, first-time homeowners, and rental investment developers who need a compact, self-contained dwelling delivered faster and at lower cost than conventional masonry construction. The studio is part of Kwangu Kwako’s EDGE Advanced certified building system, which achieved 41% energy savings, 49% water savings, and 65% less embodied carbon compared to a conventional Kenyan baseline across the Kawangare development.
