Mapesil AC is a pure acetic-crosslinking silicone sealant formulated for movement joints in bathrooms, kitchens, and exterior facades where long-term flexibility and mould resistance are critical. The sealant accommodates up to 25% movement capability, maintaining a durable elastic seal across expansion and contraction cycles in Kenya’s variable climate conditions. Its BioBlock anti-mould technology inhibits fungal growth on the sealant surface, a significant advantage in the humid coastal and lake-region environments common to Kenyan construction. Available in over 40 colours to match tile and sanitary ware finishes, Mapesil AC is solvent-free and classified as very low VOC, supporting healthier indoor air quality in residential and commercial buildings pursuing green building certification.
