Stucco Romano is Oikos’s easy-application decorative lime stucco, formulated from slaked lime, selected marble powder, natural additives, and inorganic iron oxide pigments to recreate the marble-effect plasterwork of classical Roman architecture. The product is designed for accessibility: its special formulation provides excellent adhesion and a smooth application flow that makes it easier and quicker to achieve a polished marble finish compared to traditional Venetian stucco techniques, while still delivering an authentic lime-based result. Stucco Romano achieves the highest vapour permeability in the entire Oikos decorative range (Sd = 0.015m), ensuring maximum breathability through the wall structure and preventing mould and bacteria formation over time. With a VOC content of just 5 g/L, it is also among the lowest-emission products in the range, making it an exceptionally strong performer for indoor air quality in residential and commercial interiors.
