The Precast Concrete Roofing Tile from Warren Concrete Ltd is a locally manufactured, all-natural roofing system produced by high-pressure extrusion and compaction. Available in Double Roman and Venician profiles, the tiles offer an average lifespan of 75 years, the longest of any common roofing material, while delivering superior thermal insulation, acoustic performance, and fire resistance. Concrete tiles allow air to circulate under and through the tile, improving energy efficiency by reducing heat transfer into the building. With an embodied energy of just 110 MJ/m², the product sits well below the EDGE baselines for steel sheet roofing (371 MJ/m²) and clay tiles (244 MJ/m²), making it one of the lowest-impact roofing options available in Kenya.
