The SCHELL CELIS E HD-K is an infrared sensor-controlled electronic washbasin tap designed for touch-free operation in public, semi-public and commercial sanitary facilities. Its contact-free activation delivers water only when hands are detected within the sensor range, eliminating the need to touch the tap body and significantly reducing cross-contamination risk in high-traffic washrooms. The vandal-resistant all-metal brass housing with a chrome-plated finish combines durability with a clean, modern aesthetic suited to offices, schools, healthcare facilities and hospitality environments. The CELIS E HD-K operates on mains power via a concealed transformer (9 VDC, 100–240 VAC, 50–60 Hz), removing the need for battery replacement and ensuring continuous, reliable operation. Programmable functions, including adjustable sensor range, stagnation flush scheduling, thermal disinfection and a cleaning stop mode, give facility managers direct control over drinking water hygiene and operational efficiency.
