Eenovators is a Pure ESCO (Energy Service Company) that designs, finances, and operates energy efficiency and renewable energy systems for commercial, industrial, and agricultural clients across East Africa. What distinguishes Eenovators from a standard solar installer is their “least-cost first” approach – the Energy Pyramid model – which starts with measuring and understanding existing consumption, then reducing waste through conservation and efficiency improvements, before investing in renewable generation. As a Pure ESCO, Eenovators finances projects and is repaid through the verified energy savings, carrying the technical and performance risk themselves. Operating since 2016 with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and the USA, the firm has completed over 650 energy audits, installed more than 1,200 energy meters, and trained over 1,500 energy professionals through internationally certified AEE (Association of Energy Engineers) programmes.
