FOSROC Nitocote CM210
Description
FOSROC SAINT GOBAIN: FOSROC Nitocote CM210
Nitocote CM210 is a cementitious polymer-modified waterproofing coating designed for potable water tanks, swimming pools, basements, and below-grade structures where both positive and negative-side waterproof protection is required. The coating withstands up to 7 bar hydrostatic pressure on the positive side and 3 bar on the negative side, providing reliable protection against water ingress in foundations and water-retaining structures across Kenya’s varied soil and groundwater conditions. Certified to EN 1504-2 for concrete protection and approved by WRAS for contact with potable water, Nitocote CM210 is a brush- or spray-applied system that bonds directly to prepared concrete and masonry substrates without the need for primer coats, simplifying the waterproofing process on site.

Sustainability Features
- Cementitious base uses locally available raw materials, reducing import dependency and transport emissions
- WRAS potable water approval confirms safety for direct contact with drinking water, supporting water infrastructure projects without contamination risk
- Extends concrete structure service life by preventing water ingress and chloride-induced reinforcement corrosion
- Brush/spray application eliminates the need for sheet membrane systems with their associated plastic waste
- Reduces remedial repair frequency, lowering lifecycle material consumption and construction waste
