Travertino Romano delivers the weathered beauty of natural travertine stone using a mineral composition of sand, selected marble grains, travertine powder, and slaked lime putty, repurposing quarry waste material into a high-performance decorative plaster. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, it achieves the highest fire classification in the Oikos range (Euroclass A2-s1,d0) and exceptional vapour permeability (Sd 0.024m), allowing walls to breathe freely while resisting moisture damage. The lime-based formula naturally inhibits mould and bacteria growth through its alkaline pH (12.5 to 13.5), making it well suited to Kenya’s humid coastal and highland climates. Seven distinct application techniques, from the rustic split-stone Spaccato to the refined polished Levigato, enable architects and specifiers to achieve a wide range of textured stone finishes from a single product. Travertino Romano bonds chemically with its substrate to form a single body, ensuring long-term adhesion and durability on both new and restoration projects.
