MAPEI: Adesilex P10 High Performance Cementitious Tile Adhesive 25KG

Adesilex P10 is a high-performance white cementitious tile adhesive by Mapei, specifically formulated for the installation of glass, ceramic and marble mosaic on interior and exterior floors and walls. Classified as C2TE under ISO 13007-1, the adhesive combines improved bonding strength and slip resistance with an extended open time of over 30 minutes, giving installers significantly more working time than standard adhesives when laying intricate mosaic patterns or working across large surface areas. The bright white colour is a deliberate design feature: it enhances and preserves the visual clarity of translucent glass mosaic tiles, where a grey adhesive would show through and dull the finished appearance. Adesilex P10 is highly thixotropic, allowing mosaic sheets to be installed from the top of a vertical surface downward without sagging or slipping, even with heavy tiles,eliminating the need for spacer pegs.

• Classification: C2TE (improved slip-resistant cementitious adhesive with extended open time) per ISO 13007-1 and EN 12004, compliant with ANSI A 118.4.
• When mixed with Isolastic: C2ES1 (deformable). Colour: white. Available in 25kg bags.
• Mixing ratio: 35–37 parts water per 100 parts powder (8.75–9.25 litres per 25kg bag).
• Pot life: approximately 8 hours at +23°C. Open time: over 30 minutes (EN 1346).
• Adjustability time: approximately 45 minutes.
• Set to light foot traffic: 24 hours.
• Ready for grouting on walls: 4–8 hours; on floors: 24 hours. Fully ready for use: 14 days (swimming pools and basins: 21 days).
• Application temperature range: +5°C to +40°C. Initial bonding strength after 28 days: 1.5 N/mm².
• Bonding after heat exposure: 1.4 N/mm².
• Bonding after water immersion: 1.3 N/mm².
• Bonding after freeze/thaw cycles: 1.4 N/mm².
• Consumption: 2 kg/m² for mosaics, 4–5 kg/m² for ceramic tiles.
• Shelf life: 12 months in original packaging stored in dry conditions.
